✍️ Preschool model class (for children 4 - 5 years old): 4 February 2025 from 15:00

The model classroom is designed for children preparing to enter the preschool classroom. We will begin with a morning circle where children will engage in activities for communication and cooperation. We will then move into learning centers focused on:

• Literature - first encounters with letters and words in English

• Maths - simple games on counting and shapes,

• Science - exploring the world around us,

• Art - space for creativity and imagination.

The whole programme will last 45 minutes and parents can be in the classroom for the whole time. There will be a short time at the end for your questions.

✍️ Model class for 1st grade (for children 5 - 6 years old): 6 February 2025 at 15:00

Do you have a future first grader at home? Come and try out a model first class lesson! Children will go through a shorter morning circle and then try lessons like they already do at school, with each lesson lasting approximately 20 minutes:

• Literature - they will immerse themselves in the world of letters, words and reading in English and Czech in a playful way,

• Maths - interactive activities for understanding numbers and simple number games and problems.

Here the program will last 45 minutes and parents can be with the children in the classroom. There will be a short time at the end for your questions.

Why come?

The aim of both events is for your children to experience first-hand what a day at Maple Bear is like, how lessons are taught, and have the opportunity to learn about our approach. Parents can see the atmosphere in the classroom and see how their children respond to our activities.

Important note - this is not an official Open Day:

Model Classrooms are not a presentation of the school - it is a demonstration of learning for children.
